He is finished. I'd replace him now if anyone decent was available.

We are in serious danger of dropping down this league. The last 6 results are

W1 d4 L1 - 7 points out of 18. 4 of those games at home. That's relegation form not title winning form.

I think the writing is definitely on the wall......out thought by Steve Bruce ....who rested some key players for midweek no less.

I feel sorry for MP

The issue is its too easy for the opposition manager, regardless of who they are now.

Flat back 8, keep your shape because they will only knock it around in front of you all day with no pace.

This squad is so bereft of pace its untrue.

He makes mistakes, but the problem is that the players are on easy street.
Who's job is it to make sure that doesn't happen?

I don't think we need pace though. We need to start moving the ball quicker. Last year we were fizzing passes, one to twos , making the ball do the work. This year it's all take 3or 4 touches and it completely takes any speed out of our play.

and thats probably the only reason why he wont be sacked

new manager might prove too disruptive

And may give them a rocket up the arse that they seriously need. They are lucky to play for us yet you would think they are doing us a favour turning up.

Pellegrini sat on his arse for 20 minutes of that 2nd half.

Not good enough by a long way.

Stoke, Burnley, QPR, Hull........3 points out of 12!

Wank

Very true, but that doesn't mean he isn't the best man for the job. Clearly the best young manager in Europe today, and if we pass and he goes to Arsenal or Liverpool we will live to regret it.

We will indeed. He's probably the one guy who we could get who would get the better of Mourinho on a regular basis.
Pellegrini will be gone at the end of the year because the Spaniards know it's a lot cheaper to sack him than change half the team.

Our issue though is this team is at the end of its natural cycle and some very big calls on some big names are needed this summer imo. Txiki has a lot of work to do and who they want to lead it god knows?

I suspect if they go for someone like Rijkaard then they will hope that some of the players desperately out of form will recapture it.

I think rather than get rid of the likes of Nasri and Edin we need to see if a new man can get a tune out of them.

I don't disagree. Total lack of intensity to our game and the way we set up the same week in week out nothing short of arrogant.

Most know my stance on the gaffer but today was just abysmal, it really was.

Nobody in charge of a club like us can expect to get away with performances like today.

Wrong side from the start and then his subs were mind bogglingly bad to cap it off.
There were so many issues today. The biggest one for me was what the duck we've been working on all week?

We have a huge team of analysts who must know that Hull like to play 3 at the back. It's tactics 101 that you beat 3 at the back with width yet there's 2 wide players cutting inside and no sight of either of our actual wingers. Then we end up with Dzeko (who actually played well I thought ) running the channels into all that space out wide then having no option in the box. Surely that should have been Kun?

Then at half time it's finally changed. One of the defensive players is taken off for width and surely Nasri should have been the one to go into the middle, he's done that a few times but no we switch the man capable of the killer ball deeper.
Then Silva who hadn't been playing particularly well admittedly taken off when we were desperate for some incisive passing risking Nasri for a full 90 coming back from injury.

There's also the continuation of our set piece shambles.

It was utter white from start to finish and it's not often that can be levelled at MP. What the fuck did we spend all week on.

Then rather than trying to change things he's sat on his arse all game like there's a master plan the players are aware of.

Shit at defending. Shit at attacking.

Shit transfer strategy.

Pelle is a clown and so is Txixi but they are so deep in each others arse Pelle will never get the sack.

Q&A for Pellegrini

Do you practice corners in training?

Do you have any tactical plan or do you just hope that the natural talent of the players will win the game?

Do you feel you can motivate the players?

Why drop players who are in form?
