Simeone won't ever be City manager. You've not been paying attention if you think he's even in contention.

I think he needs to be in the conversation. Right now, winning is more important than cosmetic concerns like how our manager speaks in public.

And if winning isn't the main concern, then the decision-makers have to be replaced. With the amount of money invested, it is inexcusable to be out of all domestic competitions by early February.
Most of our players struggle to look interested on a good day; apart from a handful at best there's not a lot of them who get stuck in/graft for the team.

That's a fundamental principle for a Simeone team, he'd be like a lamb to the slaughter if he came here.

Yes, I would expect that. We have needed a culling for years. Mancini got rid of the "troublemakers". Now we need to sell the disinterested.

It will be painful and anger many City fans when popular players are sold. But it needs to be done for the good of the club.

Fernando in a midfield 2. Two of our best players from last week on the bench. No natural width. No pace. Taking Silva off when we're desperate for a goal. A tactical masterclass from the manager.

we have been poor for 2 months now, that usually points to the manager, hope I am wrong and things turn around soon,

Even i cant argue with this tonight :-)

He was exactly what we needed when he came in. The man to calm everything down and get the players believing in themselves again. His philosophy? Forget about defending just express yourselves and score as many as you can. It worked well last season although at times we could see he was tactically inept. This season we are now suffering from our inexplicable neglect of our defensive duties. How can a team containing England's number one, possibly the best right back in the world and one of the best premier league centre backs of all time look so shambolic week in week out? The warning signs were there last season but we came through it, this season were were very poor up until mid November. We can no longer confidently defend leads like we used to. In fact I no longer go in to any game thinking it will be easy. Today was the final straw for me. We were so poor and void of any imagination or ideas. I believe an overhaul is needed in the summer and I don't believe our current manger is the man to oversee it. Thank you Pellegrini for all of your efforts and for stabilizing the ship. The memories will always live on. We now need someone else to take us forward.

Watched Spurs-Arsenal today, it was clear that Arse had very similar strategy they had against us. But Spurs were really different from City. They were fighting, wanted every second ball, had intensity (clearly big rivalry helped in this case), had pace, they wanted to test their keeper unlike us, Arse were not really any special, what we did tho we made them look good, made Wenger walk away with a great tactical plan. Like Bruce today.

We should play teams like Spurs tho that have intensity, open up enough at the back even when they have 35% posession only. Thats why we can beat them at home usually. But when they meet a defensive team they dont want to try to pass them around slowly they go at them.
We do it only when the house is already burning, we already conceded one or two, than we start to raise tempo fight for balls etc.

Agree with all that.

Q&A for Pellegrini

Do you practice corners in training?

Do you have any tactical plan or do you just hope that the natural talent of the players will win the game?

Do you feel you can motivate the players?

Why drop players who are in form?

One of our players last month said Pelegrini said to them at half time be patient it'll come?!

His rotation policy is not working this season, he must grow a pair and gives places based on form and not worry about keeping everyone happy.

Hopefully today is the final nail in the coffin of the useless Chilean yes man.

An imposter of a manager who has brought nothing to the club but failed signings.

This 'charming man' is a useless **** who needs to fuck off and fuck off now.
