Simeone won't ever be City manager. You've not been paying attention if you think he's even in contention.

Very true, but that doesn't mean he isn't the best man for the job. Clearly the best young manager in Europe today, and if we pass and he goes to Arsenal or Liverpool we will live to regret it.

We will indeed. He's probably the one guy who we could get who would get the better of Mourinho on a regular basis.
Pellegrini will be gone at the end of the year because the Spaniards know it's a lot cheaper to sack him than change half the team.

Our issue though is this team is at the end of its natural cycle and some very big calls on some big names are needed this summer imo. Txiki has a lot of work to do and who they want to lead it god knows?

Mourinho had absolutely 0 strikers. If he had had 1 decent striker CFC would probably be champions now, not us.

That was his excuse but he did sign Samuel Et'o.

lol and he's now at his 3rd club in a year

True but he shouldn't of moaned about the lack of strikers last season.

Not usually one to get annoyed by the manager, but today, I must say, I lost faith in Pellegrini. He looks so doleful on the touchline, it's like he's waiting for his owner to pull the trigger. . . Sometimes serenity is not the answer. You need to fire people up every now and then. Need to concentrate on top 4 and forget the title. It's Mancini's last season all over again.

Not saying he should be the next City manager but this laissez faire attitude to management from Pellegrini doesn't seem to be working
I think you haven't been paying attention to the performances Chollo has been getting out of his team week in week out for the last 4 years AND on a fraction of what City have spent. For me they can win the CL this season and they would deserve it. Any owner or director of football who chooses to ignore these facts would be nothing short of foolhardy. God help us if the scum drop TT coz Someone will be top of their list
We need to act now - pre contract style

He is finished. I'd replace him now if anyone decent was available.

We are in serious danger of dropping down this league. The last 6 results are

W1 d4 L1 - 7 points out of 18. 4 of those games at home. That's relegation form not title winning form.

He makes mistakes, but the problem is that the players are on easy street.

I think the writing is definitely on the wall......out thought by Steve Bruce ....who rested some key players for midweek no less.

I feel sorry for MP

and thats probably the only reason why he wont be sacked

new manager might prove too disruptive
