We still spent the best part of £50m - have we improved? We needed cover for Toure and Silva, If they're off or injured we're not the same side.

He's starting to fucking annoy me!
I don't know if he's naïve, blasé or just out of touch with the reality of how good we are (ie. he thinks we're as good as Madrid or Bayern, when we're not) and he just thinks we're going blaze past everyone.
His formations are wrong, he isn't picking the right teams, he isn't making the right subs, he looks adverse to adapting to different situations, he's leaving a future elite centre half out of the squad which baffles me, he hasn't instilled the right mentality into this team as a champion side (same as Mancini didn't two years ago).
With every pound extra my seasoncard goes up (of which there have been around 200 of them since we won the league under Mancini) my expectations go up and my patience goes down and Pellegrini isn't helping either situation out.
Plus in Europe we look no better this season than when Napoli split our midfield and defence wide open and Cavani slotted it in at the South Stand end in 2011.

He's managed to make us worse in defence and the goals have dried up. That's pretty impressive, almost Moyesesque. Bizarrely, Brenda has managed it as well. Thankfully Wenger is no better, so at least top 4 will be safe.
