True, there are many people in Brighton and Hove who see us as a second team, these are mainly Arsenal or Spurs fans first then Brighton 2nd, they even turn up for these games with half and half scarves. Hardly glory hunters, however there is 1 pub in Brighton that has been taken over by allways the victims lot. When they are in champions league action it is taken over by fake scousers. Hopefully if we can establish ourself in the premier league more youngsters will turn against the family and start supporting the Albion.
Nobody has anything against Brighton. I was a bit fed up when we lost 4 nowt in the cup at the Goldstone Ground. It didn't rain on us in that open end. The problem with the south in general is it's rag and dipper barring hardcore London clubs like West Ham.

I hope you are right on both counts.
Cheers.

Yes i was at that game, the aeay section in the north east oart of the Goldstone.. that was the second round of FA cup, beat liverpool away next round. 1983, if only Smith had scored in the final. I think it was a couple of years later we signed Joe Corrigan.

Over the years theres been alot of playrs who played for both teams.
Neil Macnab,
Michael Robinson

Paul Dickov the 2 loans Razack and i cant think of the other . And may be Cucu.

Cheers.

Brighton was not hip and trendy then. It was a seaside town they forgot to close down.

Cheers.

I drank in Atkinsons house due to my bird at the time on the Wednesday before that final. He wasn't there. And Smith must score
