leaves us short. City want Zin to stay unless he wants to go. We try to sign a full back either way.

We‘ve not done all that work prepping Cucurella on the off chance Zin goes.

Is Curcurella a replacement for Zinchenko or a adding to our squad feel like we are full back short before Zinchenko goes but seems like we are waiting for Zinchenko to go and won’t add another full back after this

Be better off signing Brightons recruitment team,they keep unearthing good players for reasonable fees,I'd be interested to know how Caciedo gets on as Bissoumas replacement,he looks a quality player that reminds me of Yaya,having a feeder club enables them to sign and loan players out to USG then if they do well then they draft them back to Brighton,pretty good way of doing things when you have to balance the books.

As for Cuccarella I don't think he will sign this window,if Brighton are doing poorly by January then I think things maybe different but they look like a team that's on a upward trajectory and with the next step being top 7 then it's difficult to see Bloom letting go of Cuccarella just yet.

They got reasonable fees because they ain't City in term of stature, the moment we bid the player they will get 20% to 40% increases of price tag. That's why player with release clause is given high priority by our club, just paid the clause no need for long negotiation.

It’s a completely different ball game. If we were competing with Brighton in mid table the chances are Delap, Mcatee, Palmer and Lavia would all be key players. When you’re in our position where one extra loss would lose us a league title you can’t afford to take a punt on the likes of Bissouma or Cucurella before they prove themselves.
