As I said he has been a STAND IN full back, an excellent one, very much like Delph, but both are midfield players who did a great STAND IN job as left backsOk, but it doesn’t change that City have currently two fullbacks in their entire squad. 90% of his appearances have been at lb so imma assume we can class him as a fullback

I think on balance Brighton are likely to be in a stronger position knowing we have less cover for the position.Have they? If we know Brighton’s valuation of Cucurella, then we know we are either willing to pay it or we aren’t.
We could leave an open ended £45m offer on the table and see if that eventually gets accepted, but there is no bidding war. Brighton don’t need to sell and have a valuation of their player of the season.
