Perhaps they really don’t want to sell him, and if they have to, will get maximum money they canI get the impression Cucu is gonna be stuck in Brighton the way mr Bloom is holding him for ransom

That’s almost certainly true, as it’s very likely to be more or less than 19!
That being said, it was 19 points the season before as well..
Market is fine. Clubs will pay what they feel a player is worth to them. We have shown this numerous times by walking away from deals that we thought were poor value.Don't think we can moan about the transfer market being fucked when we paid £100m for Grealish
Why, we’d have happily included Colwill in any deal. ;-)"Brighton want Levi Colwill. If Chelsea sell him, then they get Cucurella. Cucurella is in Spain chilling. Contract is till 2026 - Brighton don’t have to do anything."

If that's true...hope all of you who talked bad about Txiki can apologize to the man ;)
The fee is getting higher and higher by every interaction, it's almost amusing. It's clear the intention to do clear business is not there. Imagine asking for 70M for Cucurella? Is he the second coming of Lahm?So £50 M plus and a £20M rated young prospect . Chelsea must really be mad. Well played Txiki even if he is Roberto Carlos and prime Maldini rolled into one he made the right call here.
You might not have noticed that Brighton seemingly want a good bit more than 50M for him. So we did the right thing.weve made a pigs ear out of this one.
hes not coming we should have spent the 50m imo

This sounds like fiction, very strongly. Colwill is left footed though, so maybe he can play left back?"Brighton want Levi Colwill. If Chelsea sell him, then they get Cucurella. Cucurella is in Spain chilling. Contract is till 2026 - Brighton don’t have to do anything."

Yes, weird how we pay 100m for Jack who is realistically worth 65m. Then refuse to pay 50m for someone worth 35m. ConundrumMarket is fine. Clubs will pay what they feel a player is worth to them. We have shown this numerous times by walking away from deals that we thought were poor value.
Quite simple really. We value players on what they are worth to us. That may extend beyond their actual value as a football player. Brighton want more than 50M.Yes, weird how we pay 100m for Jack who is realistically worth 65m. Then refuse to pay 50m for someone worth 35m. Conundrum
I thought Colwell was to be a seoerate dealSo Brighton still haven't got a replacement.
Probably partly a reason we pulled out. Pep would have wanted him in ASAP and if Brighton think they can hold teams hostage and make them wait for weeks then that's not gonna happen with us.
Only if Chelsea are srupid enough to pay it Chelsea the new United.Brighton through naylor have always said they want more than they got for white. I suspect they will do the deal around £55m. The cb from Chelsea is a separate transaction.
Bloom is playing a blinder
On form Cancelo is a great player but when not he is shocking and playing at LB means Walker plays too many games and is running on fumes at the end of the seasonIMO we had a need for a RB to backup Walker. Cancelo was premier league left back of the season, and despite now not being good enough according to some issn extremely good player at LB.
