As I say, it's just heat of the moment things said right after an important moment for him.

As far as I'm concerned, this Euros has gone perfect for City. England (who had the most important City players in it) were knocked out early enough that they get a rest but late enough that they don't feel TOO disappointed, Silva isn't getting ran into the ground and Mario has got a new lease on life after getting hero worshipped in his home country instead of racist abuse.

Pretty sure he went to Barca at the same time Shearer went to Newcastle. That's when he caught my eye. Phenomenal player and as you say, if Balotelli is just half as good we will have an out and out superstar on our hands.

Im sure he will progress and last night was a good benchmark. Hopefully he will now progress more and get the golden boot and kick a certain mr shearer in the gonads and give him golden balls.
