It was just a purely hypothetical scenario.

Mario loves Naples, his girlfriend is from the area. Mancini loves Cavani.

De Laurentis is a crazy fuck and is demanding close to £50m, but if Mario was on the table, I believe it could be a game changer.

After all, they took Maradona to their hearts and protected him.

Manchester is too small for a guy like Mario, as is England.

It would also be a massive fuck you to the FA and media, having chased away another star.

Difference is, we have the means to bring in another. Cavani would win us the league alongside Sergio for the next three years.

Let me be clear, I champion Mario and whatever he and the club want to do, going forward.

But rationale dictates he will be chased off or will follow Mancini out the door.

BOLLOXS ,It's time some fans on here man'up , in football some times players get kicked in the head .
So what, who cares, I don't give a flying fook if Mario wanted to kick Parker or not. He's one of the best forwards I've seen in City blue,and even if it was Super Fat Bob Taylor that had kicked out, I would back him 200% as he plays for City.
Why should our club turn on the lad, why ???
Back the lad , and get a backbone, & fook what anyone else out side the club says.
 
The comparison with Cantona is spot on, he stamped on a player at Norwich, and at Swindon town, way before he did his flying kick on the Palace fan. Baconface never even considered getting rid and they reaped the rewards. There is a video on youtube showing the good and bad of Cantona, which explains it much better than I can.
