Yes he did he really tried yesterday was non existant for a huge part of the second half but hes a top player and looked like he was having fun yesterday.

When he was laughing after his free kick in the last second.

He had a stinging shot that flew through the air.
He had a run where he went past 3 players on the right an got a good shot off.
He was involved for Silva's goal.
He had the run, won the free kick and then was a world class save away from scoring a brilliant free kick.

Hardly non-existant that.

thought i'd mention something i noticed after watching the highlights i'd recorded from sunday nights MOTD2, (Apologises if already been mentioned) but i believe that leading up to our fifth and final goal, that whilst Kolarov was pressuring Cattermole into his cross field pass / mistake for Yaya, that who should be covering at left back for him . . . . . . oh yes, Mario. Maybe he was just being lazy and couldn't be ar$ed running forward or maybe he's become an overnight utility player? striker come left back LOL :)

Well considering our front three is quite fluid, i don't think it's accurate to say it's Balotelli that should have definitely been covering for Kolarov (who was actually on the right side). More likely Vieira or De Jong and watching the highlights again just now, Vieira was actually covering for Kolarov with Balotelli on the left side of the front three as Yaya went to him after scoring.
