Which one as the linesman that half was on the complete opposite side?
Presumably him. The line of the area would have been quite clear. Clattenburg could see the lengthwise line.

I feel the referees are doing their best to keep Leciester and Spurs up there. Does wonders for ratings. Every year sky want a story and this is this year's best seller.
That pen was just about the worst decision I've seen all season, and he's meant to be our best ref. They were arguing on sky whether it was intentional or not when it didn't matter because it never hit his hand.
The unbelievable rise of Leicester City

Are you suggesting that sky where trying their best to justify the decision? Quinn immediately said no penalty yet moments later after a word in his ear he is rambling on about how he can see why he gave it. Fucking absolute bollocks as you can't give a penalty if it's neither deliberate or as was the case, it doesn't even hit his hand or arm! The fact it's now being brushed under the carpet says it all.
Shame so much of this is spin.
e.g." The following officials have not refereed any Leicester City games since Webb took over - Attwell, Friend, Hooper, R. Madley, A. Madley, Scott, Stroud, Dowd and Foy (although Foy has now retired)."
This season - Atwell 4 matches (none last year), Hooper 1 match (none last year), A Madley (not even on the PL panel I don't think), Scott 4 matches, Dowd none this year, Foy retd, Stroud 2 matches (1 last year when Leicester lost) (taken from the PL website)
So of the 9 refs listed, 7 have 11 matches between them. Doesn't grant a lot of confidence in the rest of the claims.
You have had some shockers this season, the everton penalty and now this, think Leciester had an offside goal too.
I know you're playing badly, but everything I read today is about how wonderful all conquering Spurs are, very little mention of the fact that Clattenberg decided to give them a penalty.
Maybe things even themselves out but it's rare that a "big" team gets so many blatantly bad decisions at home.
I felt the one on Wimmer was a booking but the earlier one wasn't.For the sake of balance / devils advocate Could Yaya have been sent off yesterday for two yellows all be it soft ?
The fact it's now being brushed under the carpet says it all.
