Mark Hughes....and thank you Mark Huighes [Merged]

cheers hughes

this season we're not far from being a good side

a couple of draws into wins, we're 3/4th right now and we're all praising him, yes we have looked poor recently, but he's done a good juob for us, and i'll miss him

not sure about manicini, but i'll give him some time!!

Re: Hughes: The Epitaph

He held me in his strong arms. I started to speak but he put a finger to my lips "Shh no words" he said. Nothign could spoil the wanton drama of the thread.

Re: everybody happy

YES!!!
Think the owners have gone about it in the wrong way but we are in a results business
our defence is shit and needs sorting out
Hughes has done well but hes not the man to take us to the next level
Mancini is a class act and im sure he will take us there

Re: cheers hughes

Not his biggest fan but I feel a bit sorry for him. He seriously and professionaly took the job in his last day.

Re: cheers hughes

His downfall has been the goals we let in which is because of poor player performance which is ultimately down to the manager.

My player ratings out of 10 this season is:
Given 8
Richards 5
Zab 6
Toure 5
Lescott 6
Bridge 6
Onouha 6
Kompany 5
Barry 5
Ireland 5
De Jong 8
Robinho 6
Bellamy 8
SWP 7
Weiss 7 (limited chances)
Adebayor 6.5 (2 on Wednesday)
Tevez 7
RSC 5

We don't know what instructions these players go out with but when they cross the line its up to them - MH may not want to wish them all too well!

Re: Hughes: The Epitaph

He had it all. Basically won the lottery but didn't want to move out of his concil flat. I don't think he ever believed in himself, I don't think he trusted his own judgement but seemed think that changing things was a sign of weakness(it isnt).

Too stubborn for his own good, too many 'comfort zone' players, too much spent on Santa Cruz and Lescott, too many good players turned bad and basically too may bad results. I know we won today but we've shipped 3 goals in each of our last 3 games.

I did like his derby media performance I thought he handled it well. I did not like his other post-match interviews, with his constant blaming of referees wether correct or not

Bye Bye Mark,

Re: everybody happy

Personally no but I know im in a minority there think its been dealt with badly and that Hughes should get til the end of the season, yes are defense has been poor but thats always been the case whoever's been there not unhappy about Mancini if its true but still think Hughesey did a good job.
