Marouane Fellaini

Seems like a no brainer. We want a player that can play as in the hole as the arrow head of a midfield 3. We get to drop Yaya (whose deep range passing is quite good) and let Fellaini roam around in similar areas that Yaya does. The only caveat to signing him is that we need to sign a winger. And for that matter consider dropping a certified striker for width on the wings.

He won't be able to play that supporting striker type role that he will definitely want,
Not true that fella.
He wants to play as a holding midfielder more often.

I'd take him.

How do you know this?
Only reason is that he's been absolutely killing in that supporting striker role, so I don't see why he'd want to go back to the DM.

Phil Neville mentioned it on sky a while ago

You can only trust journalists so much.
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

You believe that Neville is lying about something so ornery?

Not necessarily lying, but there's the possibility of him completely talking out of his arse.

That's almost consensus on Everton fans forums.

When he was scoring most of goals for them they were still not happy with the way Moyes uses him and were saying Fellaini is not happy too.

From what I've understood from their discussions there are long going problems between two of them mainly for that thing.
