Just watching the goals again on Irish TV. Surprised the third goal wasn't chalked off by VAR. Raheem looked ahead of Kev when the cross came in.

i was thinking that too ...... although the pundits commentating reckoned he was behind the ball.

Good win. We are a bit powderpuff up front without a striker but the defence was solid and we played with purpose and closed down well. We are much better for me when Mahrez doesn’t play as he doesn’t put the yards in

He always seems more effective as an impact sub to me.

Can't start with mahrez on Saturday. We smashed the league by using pace down the flanks and now we need to get back to it.ruban dias is class and now we have an immense centre pairing with a really good understudy in ake aswell.dont like this false nine business and we should never be in a position to have to use but sterling should never be it and always be on the wing .hoping pep has listened to the critics and took note for the league .

hes best coming off the bench after the defence has been pressed ragged by three out of Torres/foden/sterling and Jesus when he’s fit.

Very comfortable win.. Laporte and Dias look so composed together.
Foden was excellent.. Zinchenko was solid without doing any out of the ordinary.. Walker very good again
Rod and Gundogan decent.. Eddie must have been bored shitless... Nice to see Raz and Torres score
Hopefully this will kick start our season.. Although we haven't been anywhere near as bad as some have suggested.
