Martín Zubimendi

The thought process is probably that City would happily sign Zubimendi but he has no interest in joining currently. He turned down Liverpool in the summer. Knowing that, I'm not sure why City fans think its inconceivable that he after that could turn down a move mid-season to another club in the same country, who also have a Ballon D'or winner playing in his position next season. Not to mention a real threat of relegation in the immediate future.
A real threat of relegation?

So why spend £300M on the North Stand and visitor attraction until the tribunal announces their verdict?

The stadium will remain the same regardless if we go down a league. The players wont.

Also, the Etihad was chosen as a Euro 2028 stadium. That would have been a huge driving force for the club to showcase the ground and amenities .

Unless you haven't heard, that is a very possible outcome of the 115 charges against us? The club might be (or say they are) confident, but some top players would probably need more than our guys saying "dont worry about it".

You didn't use that word but that's what you implied, what else does "wanting the easy life at a crap team" mean ? it's something the arrogant cunts at Madrid, dippers, rags use when they don't get a player they want, so once again, do better.
If it’s implied you wouldn’t use quotations you dope hahaha

I’ve heard about it FFS. It seems like a rather pessimistic perspective. The executives don’t seem to share that view. They’re quite firm in their stance, with solid evidence to support it. If top players are genuinely concerned, they can always include a release clause in their contracts.

Considering current form and the very real possibility of a fat points deduction if the PL case doesn't go well; we could very well face relegation.

The question remains:
I am aware of the Euro 2028 selection, but it is not worth £300 million.
If the club is found guilty, the owners and executives’ positions will become untenable, and the extension will become a £300 million white elephant. Therefore, they must have genuine confidence in their position.
