He was awful, but Kompany was lucky to stay on the field.
atkinson was shite today.
re the sending off. if he really thought mario had elbowed skrtl then he should have given him a straight red. giving him only a yellow shows to me that he wasnt sure and was swayed by crowding liverpool players like adam making elbow gestures.
it was either a straight red or nothing at all. obviously it should have been nothing imo.

Watch Atkinsons reaction when he gives a free kick, he is giving nothing until the Liverpool players crowd him(a la rags) and then gives the yellow.

Don't think Kompany was lucky to stay on (if the incident with Suarez is what people are refering to) looking at it from another angle it can be deemed Suarez misses the ball and studs Vinnies ankle/top of foot.
Did what he intended Mr Atkinson made a name for himself by sending off Mario. As soon as Mario made the challenge his card was out before he even walked over. You could tell he'd been lucking forward to that as soon as Mario came on the pitch.
The Skytl went down like bambi meeting 12 bore it didn't help matters. Both cards were harsh in my opinion. The amount of that greasy tw^t Suarez went down and not even a word, pretty much tells the story
