Hopefully Vinny can be back for Bayern at home!

I just hope though we don't fall behind too much in the table, if we go 8+ points behind we will find it very tough to claw back.

I'm not saying we cannot do it, but its not a great situation to be in so early on in the season.

Durham on Talksport just said Kompany out until October. Fuck.

Also reported in The Guardian, looks like he will miss the derby. We should have probably gone all out for a third high-level defender in the summer window, since Kompany is regularly injured now.

Caught Offside isn't a reliable source though, they have printed Micah to United and Adam Johnson to United in the past. And I don't think Nasri and Gallas could co-exist, they despise each other.

PS: Bring back Dr. Batty, we hardly had any injuries in the 2011/12 season before a megalomaniac had him sacked.

All managers need ability and good players at their disposal to succeed but most of all they need luck. To date, Pellegrini is not looking to be a lucky manager and that is worrying.

If you combine the appalling injury situation defensively with the introduction of a new playing style then the season could be over as far as the main targets are concerned as early as they were last season.
