Mary D's

Not many pubs left in Wythenshawe either, it’s a risky business.
True. I do get the impression the club, police and council would rather there were no pubs near the ground and we were all in one place.

Depends on the area as well. There’s a few places where pubs and bars are doing well and new ones opening - under bank in Stockport example

Is The Townley still going.
That’s where I used to go with my young fella.

Of course they want no pubs in the area, less chance of any trouble plus the club makes more money. Better off sticking to town and walking/ taxiing up.

I like it. Almost everything feels like it has changed in and round the stadium since the take over as well as the match going experience itself except for Mary Ds, so a bit of time capsule for me
