I suppose the moon landings never happened and Princess Di is still alive as they were in the papers as well. Why is everything that is written about City in the papers bullshit, yes most stories are inaccurate in ways but Mr Flecher has previous for stuff against fans and seems to be power pissed. How can the police suddenly de arrest someone why not go round have a quiet word and say look we believe you have it return it all I will not be taken further.

On the subject of police,after the game when everyone was celebrating and back in the stands,why were the police filming the fans in the South stand near the corner flag?

It looked like the sort of filming you see them do on political demonstrations and it struck me as really odd why they would be doing this.

Oh do piss off... go to the papers and the club will be painted in a bad light. These stories never come across good and it will just be another thing for the club to clean up. I despair at the stupidity of some blues. The guy with his broken leg, the "teacher" just last week selling her story to The Sun about the Tevez poster. Now some kid wants to go to the paper about stealing the match ball and the club taking it back off him.

They were filming fans on the pitch near the corner flag when the players came round, I suppose the police clans Fletcher couldn't identify the thousands on the first pitch invasion so now they will probably jump on these guys as scapegoats. The coppers do it all the time in town and at away games, remember we are all criminals in their eyes for having the audacity to follow our team and enjoy it.

I hope to see the match in the new City museum or new National Football Museum in Manchester.

Well done to Fletcher for a PR disaster as well. Long overdue the sack if you ask me.

Anyone with tact would be able to politely convince the individual to return the ball back so it can be shown to the supporters at the museum.

Says a lot about Fletcher and his inability to deal with things well when he wants to get the police involved.
