Match Ball and Peter Fletcher allegedly (for legal reasons)

I recognise this lad, stands near us in 109 (he might be 110 as we're on the far side of 109)

They set off just after the final whistle, whereas I waited to see the stewards reactions... when they let these lads go past this is when I went.

I don't like this line in the article on mcfc.co.uk

He was brought back to The Etihad to hand the coveted artefact back to goalkeeper

it sound's very police-like, why did he need bringing back? lol he's a dedicated Blue, he would of hapilly gone back.

PR Disaster

Get the fuck out of here, I know him. He's often stood behind me on row D in 109. I haven't seen him as much recently. Think he got banned in the great cull of rows D and E about half way through the season and only seen him back on row D once since. He's still going though because I last saw him just before the derby game when everyone was going mad on the concourse at 110/111. He's a sound lad and a good blue.

Go on then.

Look how easy it was.

Hopefully lessons have been learned.

Joe Hart has been reunited with the ball from City's title-winning victory over QPR.

Small, round, white and last seen leaving Sergio Aguero’s foot.

An appeal was launched by City following the disappearance of one of the most important match balls in the club’s history.

As thousands of ecstatic fans descended on to the pitch on the last day of the season, one City supporter spied a golden opportunity to take away a piece of club history but the Blues were always going to want the precious keepsake.

However, things didn’t work out too badly for 17-year-old Joe Broadbent. He was brought back to The Etihad to hand the coveted artefact back to goalkeeper Hart and in an exchange received a pair of the keeper's gloves!

if true surely the cps would prosecute flecter for deliberately giving the police false information and wasting police time. only the premier league could have reported the theft of the ball and he would have known that in his position if he didnt then city should sack him for being imcopetent

Lets not allow the club to forget our anger at Fletcher's behaviour here. His general contempt for match-going blues has been demonstrated enough now.

I want him gone.

You are not alone but he keeps getting away with it!
