why the fuck should you, you have been smug twats to colin about this subject, and I say that whilst liking you both, all 3 of you actually.

So is it o'k to go around calling folk smug twats for no reason?
He didn't name them so it's a "if the cap fits sort of thing"

Wouldn't be surprised if it was the Chelsea v Barcelona match. Some boggling decisions in that match. As Drogba asserted, "its a disgrace"

This. No wrong doing on Chelsea part but they had at least 2 if not 3 legitimat penalties denied in that game. It was a disgrace as Drogba said

So to those idiotic, smug, sarcastic twats who think it's all a bit of a nutjob conspiracy, your imminent apologies will be welcomed.
:)

I'm just left wondering just who these 'idiotic, smug sarcastic twats' are, given that I am not one of them.
Maybe they will be named and shamed along with the four bent refs and one dodgy manager in due course.
Or maybe not.
Ironic

Wouldnt it be great if it came out that it was one of the teams in Europe who we have met in the CL and who have moaned about our spending and "doing things the right way" (despite spending heavily themselves Like Bayern and match fixing like Napoli).
Love to shove theier holier than thou attitudes down thier throats

No,we simply had a bit of a laugh - is that not allowed on here anymore?
I have said all along that if folk end up charged, convicted and sentenced as an outcome of this then I shall be the first to admit I was wrong.
But what PB alleges regarding corruption within the English game and the op he posted here are different issues entirely, and he has admitted as much.
So to call folk smug twats is a bit much, given that nothing has been proved yet.
The irony being that I am indeed a smug twat most of the time, but I haven't been on this thread.

-- Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:37 pm --

Care to expand upon that pearl of wisdom?

What will be interesting about this is how the clubs look when it all comes out in the wash, if it turns out that the refs were implicit in fixing matches, you cant really sanction the clubs, if you find out it was a keeper can you take sanctions against the whole club, if the results werent true and it led to titles , cups being won are those titles cups tainted because of one man?

I dont really see how the sanctions are going to stack up

-- Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:42 pm --

nijinskys fetlocks i am taking no sides on this im just curious that given the scale of the allegations and the money involved and the amount of people involved what makes u so sure that the premier league is clean?

Ironic that you're expressing your displeasure at potentially being labelled a 'sarcastic twat', with a post riddled with twattish sarcasm.

:-)

I'm not sure that the Premiership is clean mate, and I have never said it was.
But what I tend to do is base my opinion on what is known and proven, rather than on something which may possibly be the case but has not been established yet.
It's known as keeping an open mind and waiting for the truth to come out in the public domain, rather than jumping to a conclusion in advance and then trying to find evidence to support the outcome you have already decided upon.
