Feck me.how long was that post.mortem on the rags

The coverage of the rags was a full 25 minutes, we got 15. If nobody had seen our full game they'd think we scraped it with a penalty and a breakaway goal. No mention of how we totally outclassed West Ham for 98% of the game, strolling about and passing it around for fun. It has to be one of the most one sided games I've seen against a good top six side. Awful coverage and analysis.

To be fair and I can't stand the BBC, they showed the rags being drilled by Brighton it wasn't a compliment or a favour other than for the Brighton fans.

My favourite bit was when I misheard "bucketloads of Premier League experience" as "fucking loads of Premier League experience."

The more I have listened to him the more he sounds like Rangnick when he first got the job! Let us hope that he achieves just the same maybe worse! And just when your sides have stopped aching from the laughter they have been knocked back in a bid for.......ARNAUTOVIC!
And quite soon, any attacking momemtum will completely evaporate again when he realises the need to tell everyone to just stay back and help the defense out because there are such massive holes everywhere when people go up (and don't come back).

Much the same as ragnik, Ollie, mourinho, Van Gaal, all figured out.
They go back to being the new Burnley, the fans turn once more, and so the cycle continues...

It was a full on hammering of the rags. I enjoyed every second of that analysis.

Just watching it now after recording last night.

The united game, talk about a whitewash of the facts! They've shown four united chances and just then one Brighton one up to the first goal, yet I remember checking the match stats yesterday and it was something like 12 shits to 3 in Brighton's favour at half time!

And the McTominay yellow, blaming the Brighton player for jumping in and hurting himself! Don't mention at all what the video shows, ie the united player standing on the Brighton players foot / ankle!

Just seen the shove on the Brighton player. An example of how var is used at old trafford. If that isn't a shove, what is?

Absolutely spot on mate, they even included the West Ham chance that was a yard or two offside, the header ..if you hadn’t watched the game live and caught up with the bbc highlights you’d be saying to yourself that was a hell of a lot closer than is being reported elsewhere..It’s not the first time either happens a lot with our games for some reason..

Rubbish. The rags had far more shits than Brighton.

The MOTD mob said Brighton should have had a penalty at 2-0, so why the hell didn't they have a go at the ref and VAR? - OK, OK, I know.
The point is that it was often unfair to have a go at refs in the past as they may have been too far from the action or had a restricted view. However with VAR that no longer washes and the fans are clearly the victims of selective interpretation of the laws of the game.
Or possibly that corner of that penalty area may be a VAR black spot as it was fairly close to where Jesus was hacked down last season.
