I missed MOTD but was wondering about the tv angle they’d use as the live TV showed it behind KDB so you can’t see the ball, therefore how can you make a judgement. However I realise that could be TV & VAR may see multiple angles.
I sit in line with where EBH was and didn’t really celebrate as he looked offside to me in the ground.

And didn’t show Berny getting all annoyed and booked after Pereira had pulled his shirt meaning a 2nd yellow.
I expected them to debate the foul on Rodri afterwards, but not a peep out of them, bent f•••••s
If shirts were reversed we would have a man sent off 6 mins in

A little technical question. Law 12 says on "double jeopardy" that you can't get a red card if an attempt is made to play the ball in the penalty area. Surely it would make more sense to say "make an attempt at a legal challenge"? A shoulder charge is a legal challenge, so if a player attempts to challenge shoulder to shoulder, but mistimes it, it is the same, in my eyes, as someone attempting to play the ball but fouling. Bit harsh, really.

It's the law, though, so not much to complain about. Would a change make sense, though?

Have to feel a little sorry for Gary O’Neil. He set his Bournemouth teams up well and they’ve got into winning positions, but the players have let consecutive leads slip and that’s now going to cost him his job.

Only a little thing, but when the raggy twat did his knee slide to celebrate his pen the editing immediately cut into to a tight shot of the Fulham fans celebrating at the other end of the ground. So it gave the impression he was celebrating in front of his own fans (which is what my watching missus thought she was seeing) rather than being a snide git doing his best to wind up the blues in the North Stand / CB corner for quite a prolonged period.

I'm pretty sure when Rodri did similar we had to have repeated views and a debate on whether that's a legit thing for players to do.

Personally I actually have no problem with ours or any other teams players doing it. It's appropriate football shithousery. Just thought it was an interesting difference of treatment of events between the two incidents.

Haaland was offside. It wasn’t even particularly marginal.
Freeze the video when the lines are shown and look at where the ball is
When I did this, because of the position of the camera, which is behind KDB, it looks like the ball has already travelled a foot/foot and a half. It really isn't clear
I wonder if they brought the video back a frame Haaland would be onside!

Very complimentary about us last night fairplay. But two things stood out.....no footage or mention about the rodri "tackle".....and what the fuck did they do to the match atmosphere! Sounded completely different compared to the bein footage I watched where it sounded amazing but on the beeb it sounded shite.....

Normally think MOTD is pretty good viewing but they didn't capture the drama of yesterday at all.

And I don't just mean for our game.

VAR took a fuckin' long time for summat that wasn't marginal. Perhaps Attwell was having double vision in the shed, or he'd had a near death experience wanking himself at the opportunity of getting a City goal chalked off!
Just saying what I saw mate. As soon as the freeze frame was shown I knew it was offside. His shoulder made it so.
I thought the ref was very poor but if there was a conspiracy in that game he would have disallowed our penalty.
