I’d certainly make that change before swapping doku out. I wonder whether pep thought we’d control the game more in the final third with the initial selection…

I think some fans need to accept if we’re going to keep Alvarez long term alongside Haaland then it’s going to involve playing them together even in some games when it’s not perfect.

Not sure anyone is suggesting he not get picked, just that today, he’s not been at his best and we need another body in midfield to nullify their press and build up.

Same with Doku. No one wants him sold, it just might be better with more control in this type of game.
