Issue is, Torres would have skinned Kolarov too because Kolarov is even slower. Left-back has again become a problem position like it used to be for us. It used to be that we had a defensively near perfect Clichy and Kolarov who had some attacking threat, but now Clichy has deteriorated so much and while Kolarov has improved he still isn't great in his own half.

Not buying a quality CB has cost us so much already this season.. We all foresaw it. As for Clichy, he's totally lost everything that made him a top player for us in the first season.. He's never offered anything going forward, but his defending has completely gone to pot. Awful half, carry on like that and it will end 2 or 3 nil.

Silva was not impressed with the manner in which Torres floated past Clichy ......and rightly so. Gael also failed to find Nasri with a cross.
So in a nutshell Clichy to score pile-driving equaliser seconf half.
