Some whining pessimistic bastards in here.

I can honestly say I never expect us to lose, even when we've been shit I think we'll beat teams.

Man City are very beatable, we're not talking about Barcelona or Real Madrid here, they're a team who are on our level, who we should be beating at home, injuries or not.

Concentrate on the damage we can do to them, not what they're going to do to us.

lescott against Carroll, Dirk v Bridge, Suarez v Anyone. Lucas will deal with their midfield on his own!!

The mighty reds will fuck these, not a problem.

Just don't understand how on earth people are predicting a loss tonight.
We are favourites have a strong team and have not lost at anfield in ruddy ages, city are about as inconsistant as it gets, I predict a comfatable 2-0 poss 2-1

Just signed up to the site to ask some City fans a few questions. Unfortunately I can't start a new topic so can't post them on their own and didn't want to hi-jack anyone's thread.

Basically I am doing a preview for the City game against Rovers (like this one) on the 25th at Ewood for BRFCS. Anyway I need a real City fans to answer a few questions which will be featured in my preview.

Anyway, the questions are below. I have 6 days before I have to submit my preview (after the next game) so would be thrilled you wanted to answer these , I will credit each answer I use with your nick in my preview.


Q) With 6 games to go, City are in 4th spot and again vying with Tottenham for the Champions’ League place, they beat you to it last season so do you think this year will be your turn to grab that illusive spot?

Q) It is commonplace to ask rival teams who their “danger man” is and who we should be looking out for, given the amount of money Sheik Mansour has invested you should have eleven of them but who out of your superstars do you think will cause us particular trouble on Saturday?

Q) And which player has impressed you most this season? Not necessarily your best player but the player who has done more than you expected this term.

Q) At Rovers, where money has always been scarce (post Jack Walker that is), the transfer fee plays a big factor when we judge the quality of a signing; we’d view a freebie that scored 10 goals for us a better buy than a £5m player who scored 11. Despite having an almost infinite transfer kitty, do the fans still judge the ‘value’ of each player brought in or do expensive failures not bother you?

Q) From an outsider’s point of view what do you think of Venky’s and the way they have run Blackburn Rovers so far?
