I can see this being the team, but with Milner and AJ swapping flanks, so Milner can help Kolarov out defensively against the pace of Walcott.

Good team too, considering absentees - if lacking a bit in flair. I just hope its good enough to get us all 3 points

I'm worried today; I just can't see how we will beat them or break them down. Anyone want to allay my fears and tell me why they are optimistic?

We need to stay tight in the middle and continually break the game up and frustrate them.

If tevez drops back and pulls their CBs out of position we can break quickly with Yaya/AJ/Milner running at their defence which will hopefully force them into making a mistake.

In all honesty I can see this being won thanks to a comedy error (from city) or a penalty (from Arsenal)!

Im worried too, cant see us beating them either,i just think the passing from them is gonna be too much for us and dont think we will be able to break them down and get in behind them and if they break,well...

obviously,i hope im 100% wrong though!

Come on City...Come on City...Come on City...

Don't worry my friend, the first goal will come from a steam rolling Yaya! Cuts through their whole team and slides it across to AJ. Once the first has gone in, the flood gates will open!

The way to beat Arsenal is too defend well soak up the presure and take chances on the counter attack. With Kolarov easing his way in i would have grave concerns having him at FB in this one, the reason i say this is Walcott is a lot better than that Phillips lad frfom Blackpool and it seemed to be a shock to the system compared to what he has had faced this season. Also speedy wingers are no such thing in Serie A.

I feel we would benefit from having Zabba at LB, as i feel he would be best to do a job on Walcott. RB Richards I would then fill the wide positions with Milner on the right and Kolarov on the left, ideal for the counter attack and sound defensively, as much as i rate AJ i feel he would be best to come off the bench with 20 to go. I feel he will spend most of his night tracking one of there full backs and even though he gives it a go it aint his strong point!!

Other than that maybe Kolo in for Lescott, this due to the speed Arsenal have. Against more physical sides i believe Lescott is the best choice to pair with Vinny.

Sorry mate. I can't see anything other than a loss for tonight.

Me too, but I'm still excited probably the most since the semi-final last year. Unfortunately whenever I get excited about the possibility of something amazing happening in a match City always end up losing.
