caballero made the Community Shield a walk over for city with his distribution. They'll have to buy a keeper.Looked like Chelsea were on course for a poor window but they have made good moves and kept Hazard. I don't think Curtois is that good.

Kovacic is going to Chelsea because of Courtois and Jorginho obviously only wanted to stay with his daddy so it's not like we could have done anyhing about it; nothing to get upset about.

We do seem hamstrung by prices this summer.

Hazard doesn't play midfield for Chelsea. He plays as a wide forward or a false nine mostly. So the choices at midfield won't affect him. That said I think a Jorghino/Kante/Kovacic midfield being backed up by Fabregas and Barkley is pretty top notch.Is Eden Hazard going to stick around along with the numerous options they have in midfield already? It seems to me that Chelsea haven't got a real transfer strategy.

Its alright but like Liverpool lacks the creativity to unlock a defence in the way KDB or either of the Silvas can.Hazard doesn't play midfield for Chelsea. Think anyone who came in would have started more games than Ferna.Kovacic would have been dumb to choose us. His whole issue was being on the bench. Why go from Real's bench to ours?

Kovacic isn't any better than what Chelsea currently have. He is a player who loves to dribble, along with above average skill set for the rest of his game and Chelsea already those types of players in their ranks. Saying that he isn't much use for us at City either.
I think his mixture of Technique and energy is a better fit for Sarri than any of the other guys. Really it's Kante and Jorghino plus 1. And Kovacic is a better 3rd guy than Fabregas, Barkley or the Leicester dude.Kovacic isn't any better than what Chelsea currently have.
