I agree, surely this is only as a rotational player. Replacing either Gundo or Silva with him is very uninspiring to say the least.Without selling Gundo or Bernardo, sure... But if he replaces one of those two... Yikes.

We are openly after Bellingham. If we don't get him we will be after someone else of that stature. Kovacic is not the main summer signing just a team player.I agree, surely this is only as a rotational player. Replacing either Gundo or Silva with him is very uninspiring to say the least.

Every time I’ve seen him against us he has been their best player. He’s unbelievable on the ball, I reckon gundo has changed his mind and is gonna sign so it will probs be a rotational role for him.I hope we get the national team version of Mateo. He has the technical ability, excellent passing, through balls. With the right manager (Pep) and team around him (Man City) we should get the best Kovacic we have all ever seen.
I think that's how it plays out but we hope we can get Bellingham and maybe that's when Bernie goes, once the bid comes in for him.Don't get me wrong, hes probably a beast under Pep, like with Tuchel. BUT he cannot replace Illkay or Bernie. HE can replace Phillips or be an extra body in depth. That would send Perrone and McAtee out on loan ofc.
Kdb Kova Gundo and Bernardo for a fully stacked season would be ideal.
Losing Bernardos legs will warrant two midfield-signings regardless if Gundo stays. They aren't young anymore.I think that's how it plays out but we hope we can get Bellingham and maybe that's when Bernie goes, once the bid comes in for him.
