He has been on the decline this season ,Enzo has been the better of the two midfielders .We would be stupid to way 40-50 million ,who has a very poor output (goals and assist) ,also does not takes free kicks or corners .

he has been the one trying to cover for Enzo and Kante who have been doing their own thing

Enzo looks horrifically over-priced, no positional responsibility at all, just runs forward. Kante was meant to be defensive in the games he played and was the furthest forward the majority of the time

He will slot in really nicely at 6 or 8 for us. Comfortable receiving the ball in tight situations and doesn't panic, knows his role in the team on the day

I've always rated him even though he doesn't catch the eye for stats, this season felt sorry for him playing in that side as he seemed the only one that had listened to the team talk or training for the week

we play 60 odd games a season. Hopefully Gundogan signs a new contract, but will he physically able to play every 3 days. Kovatic would be able to rotate & also be cover for Rodri.

Kova's style reminds me off the gundo we picked up. He added goalscoring to his game here, hopefully Kova can as well if needed (which i doubt it will)

That’s the big thing for me, Rodri has had to play an awful lot of cover because Phillips hasn’t been up to the task.

Arrogance in football is not a virtue, he did nowt for chelsea this year, my comments were not about city's success that is down to one man pep once he goes, who knows city's future. I hope I am wrong about this potential signing, I would have liked to have see some dynamic changes, still may come.
