Has to be one of the most unlucky midfielders last season. Chelseas attack can't score, I've seen Chelsea fans online say Kovacic is shit in the final third. So watched a few videos and looked at his stats.
Kovacic isn't shit in the final third Chelseas attack is. There are multiple clips from last season where Kovacic should have an assist but Chelseas attack is terrible. He plays Mudryk in 1v1 4 times and Mudryk misses four times in different games. Sterling can't score from a Kovacic through ball, I don't think I've seen one midfielder be so unlucky with what's in front of him.
Some of the misses are stupid, it's like they don't want to score.

fabrizio is an aggregator with a few friends who give him tips here and there. Obviously its impossible for a guy who tweets from his basement to be directly plugged in to teams all around europe (and saudi arabia now i guess)

Think the signing isn’t reliant on anyone going but purely squad depth and adds another body in midfield, with kev and gundo(provided he stays) getting older and the amount of games next season the signing makes a lot of sense, especially considering the price for a player of his quality

he will play as a cdm, cm or even cam. for me kovacics best role is as a box to box with a 10 and rodri behind him.
