It allowed us to get our target in for a very reasonable fee, maybe for a reason, we are either saving up for a huge payout on Wurtz next summer or maybe a shock late deal this window that no one has envisaged.
Thanks I appreciate it.
I also got the text saying ‘it’s close now’ at 12:16.
Until next time, when the information might not come to fruit and I get spears aimed towards me haha.
Interesting to see what will happen to Mcatee.
Wasn't Nathan Ake a staple in a historically bad Bournemouth defense before he joined City? He's turned out pretty well. I'd argue Nunes is far more 'talented' than Ake. That's obviously only half of it but let's wait and see how it plays out.
The deal on Doyle is why the £47m is possible.
Welcome Matheus....good practical work by Mendez & Txiki (don`t like both but this time they deserve praise) to make this deal happen..£47m + Doyle loan seems good but Bueno from Girona is also kinda part of the deal..don´t know if Wolves get Bueno under market value but i´don`t care about Gironapep also liked Matheus Nunes when he played at Sporting...would prefer him over Kova & Rice..is more offensive versatile than Rice & younger than Kova
True but when they sell him we will get that back. Possibly more. But will have the chance to buy Doyle about £15mil- £20mil below his value
Not in the accounts and we are stocking up on our cash reserves for a reasonPaying £60m for Nunes and getting £15m for Doyle from SHU is still same as paying £47m for Nunes and getting £5m for Doyle. Not sure what are we saving here
