He did show it at Wolves, but only occasionally and/or in patches, but that was while playing in a team struggling to stay in the Prem and on a footballing wavelength light years off ours.

You know when we say occasionally. From looking it up his best performances for Wolves were against the top 6 teams last season. Most highlights of his season last year are against Chelsea , Tottenham , United , Liverpool

Maybe he was more motivated in those games. They lost to united but he was brilliant in that game as well which was this season. It looks like when ever it was a game against the top 6 he’d up his level.

Unfortunately for some people the manager that brought us treble and assembled our greatest squads in living memory, numerous trophies and a playing style the envy of the world over and changed the way football is played from grassroots to the pinnacle of football is simply not good enough compared to the ravings on a Wolves fan forum from a club that actively conspired to try to ban us from CL football.
Well iTyler seems to think so anyway.
Ffs.
I mean what does the baldy fooker know about football. The sooner he goes back (pun not intended) to Catalan the better we`ll be.
I mis the lovely old "bad days" when we could take the piss out of our Club and everyone laughed. Even us miserable bastards who frequent this forum.
No the sooner he goes ...

We wanted Bellingham. We wanted Rice. They both went elsewhere.
We didn't have a plan C after that. We've been in disarray since KDB got hurt, neither Nunes nor Paqueta are 'elite' players imo.
Either Maddison or Ward-Prowse would have been a better signing than Nunes or Paqueta.
All about opinions of course, but I think we missed the bus midfield-wise this window.
Bellingham was only going one place, irrespective of other offers. I rate Rice very highly but we walked away when the price became excessive, many believing the myth he chose Arsenal when he didn’t. We simply wouldn’t stump up the dough once at our limit.

I find it hard to agree we’re in ‘disarray’….KDB ruled out at the business end of the window is going to test the best.

We are very smooth operators nowadays, look at the result of the Pep story so far.

Top Dogs in England for years, now Top Dogs in Europe.

I hope we continue to be in ‘disarray and dragging our feet’

Feels fantastic to me.
