The books are fine as they are unless we're bringing someone else in besides Bony.bluesince76 said:If it's only an option to buy, only the loan fee can be included for FFP, plus the loss of his wages.
Does this make it more likely Jovetic is on his way to balance the books?

I think the club have made it very clear that he won't play for us again, no matter how well he may perform in Germany.schfc6 said:pudge said:Disappointed that it's an "option to buy" deal

Glass half empty?
He could could be great, we bring him back, or he could be great, they buy him. Or better still, be great and the whole of Italy be interested again.
Glass half full for me..

I'm thinking likewise.....but as I said earlier,we at least get a decent loan fee and his 'exit' allows us to sign Bony, which more than makes up for his possible return.

Should we not be tougher with clubs as they do with us. Schalke can afford £ 10 million (seem links)

not see if he is OK and then if not (or gets injured) simply send him back at the end of the season (like returning a cardigan to M&S if you are not happy after with it (other items of clothing are available))
Richards will go on a free this summer
Sinclair will probably still be with us by the end of this windows (Villa looking at a player from Valencia now) and no doubt Celtic will want to pay next to nothing for Gudetti or simply extend his loan period.
Should we now look at selling Jovetic at the end of Jan to fund the Bony deal ?
