First time we've really effectively marked Carroll and he must take much of the credit. A world class prospect.

Give Him a run im the team him and kompany look solid and at 19 he was dubbed the next vidic and he could be GREAT BUY

Makes you wonder, who was the man making the decision to buy Savic when both Savic and Nastasić were available to buy from Partizan (Nastasić wet to Fiore) last Summer.
 
A good performance from both Nastasic and the rest of our defence.
 
Was really worried as we never seem to be able to handle Carroll but he was mature and was like a rock at the back. Deserves more starts as every performance so far has been calm and confident.
 
Marshalled the potentially troublesome Caroll really well today.

Seems composed beyond his years.

Reads the game well and I feel that gives him his composure. His reading allows him to 'avoid' problems.

Seems to be a 'footballing' centre back to. Very comfortable on the ball and even when in tight or tricky situations.

At 19, that's outstanding.

If this lad was a united youth prospect the whole world would have their dicks out.
