They didn't score from a corner! They scored from a poorly defended corner. Okay, I love pedantry!! I must have seen thousands of corners given away when a player was under pressure - most of which were successfully defended.

Nastasic is a good footballing defender and no matter how much I love Joleoninho despite the ten years experience Jole has over Matija, he doesn't come close to the footballing talents of the young lad.

Lescott = injured - for those that don't realise.

Nastasic was our best player at West Ham, and also had a good game tonight, but its early in his career so lets wait and see how he progresses, the early signs are however very promising.

better tell graham souness that Lescott was injured because "you dont change a winning defence" even if the player is injured embarrassing

Talk about Joe Cool. He looks like he wouldn't get flustered if a horde of barbarians were charging at him!

Outstanding potential and also he has vision with his passing.

He was really good last night except for the mistake on the goal.

Very good passing, nearly two shots on goal but I was most impressed with his pressing up the pitch. At times he was pressing an Ajax player further into the centre circle. Also made some nice interceptions where his positioning was spot on.

Two good games in a row now, and it's no secret he will get better and better with more games.

Potentially a great partnership with Kompany in the making.

Agree with Rascal - very impressed with Nastasic. Looks a proper player and if he develops correctly will be as much of a bargain as Vinny turned out to be.
