3 clean sheets in 3 league games with vinny and nasty,

imo he's just better than lescott, which is hard on lescott as he's been a very good player for us but this kids quality. (i say this kid but he's only a year younger than me).

I don't see any reason to. Since Nastasic came in we have been absolutely rock solid. His partnership with Vinny is getting better and better and the young lad is mature enough to not have to worry about his age.

If anyone said three weeks ago what I'm saying now I'd have said Lescott should start too. But Nastasic has been incredible and he owns the jersey for now.

While I can see your argument, the fact is Lescott was out of the team injured, and Nastasic replaced him, and since then has done nothing wrong to merit being left out, so for now he has the place, and should retain it, until such time as he makes serious enough errors, that merit him being left out, up to to now he hasn't, so for me its leave well alone, don't fix what isn't broken. Lescott will get his chances again soon enough, its up to him to take them when he does.

funny enough i said in amsterdam, where joeleon had a mare, that he'd never play for city again, bob hates him as it is. what fears me is bob just maybe wrong but will play the kid regardless of his clumsyness purely because he's signed him.

This is it. At the moment I don't think he has anymore mistakes in him than Lescott or Vinny, which is incredible really. In fact taking every minute on the pitch into account you could make an argument for him being our best centre back this season.

I read on here somewhere, possibly yourself actually, that no team has won a title with a 19 year old first choice centre back, and at the time I completely agreed (And really think we should have pushed through for Agger). But the more I see Nastasic the more you realise he plays well, well beyond his years. Plus once upon a time a team never won the league with a Belgian captain either, so there's a first for everything!
