It's because he knows he can still excel in the Championship this season while knowing that it's more or less certain he'll be playing premiership football with them next season. Quality player, just hope he fulfils his potential. Good luck to him.

Just clocked the thread - saw this boy on football mundial earlier in season - I think he is a Kenyan and he is just what we need ie a big EFF OFF Make em ave it attacking midfielder - just what we are short of. The premier league will suit him he is built like Richards.

This is going to sound really shit, but he's my star player on Footy Manager - apparently he's 22'ish and 6'4 and he is a box to box midfielder and his attributes are his power, ability in the air and his work rate, but he also appears to be technically very gifted.

I know its only footy man but thought I would let you know what he's like on there. 6'4 though in midfield would be awsome if he can play as well!

I made him quite good on PES 10 after reading rave reviews about him in Football Italia and world Soccer magazine.

He's big, powerful, quick and technically decent.

I'm a Swede and I remember him (played in Helsingborg) but I don't think anyone thought he was going to go to a club like City. Before he went to Parma he was rumoured to Ajax for £4m, but ended up going to Parma for £1.7m. Portsmouth had him for £2.2m but work permit stopped the deal. Juventus are also after him now, plus already mentioned Inter.

Anyway he was popular and many saw him as the best player in the Swedish league. Then suddenly he became totally shit a season and left to Parma on loan, where he obviously has picked it up again. Unfortunately I never saw him play and for some reason I can't find much good info about him.

I heard he was 6ft 6ins and knicknamed Kifaru (Swahili for rhino) back in Nairobi, where he turned down the chance to captain the Olympic middle distance running team...
