McCarthy Sacked - Wolves

Not sure what to make of this one, If Wolves have someone better lined up then fair enough but if its someone like Bruce or Warnock then theyve just made a sideway step, it'll be a shame if they go down because they have a premiership quality team ad their stadium will look alot better once fully redevelopped, still i think McCarthy would kept them up.

Underachieved? Based on what?

They have a mid-table quality side imo.

I disagree.

then you have to ask for the money he's spent why they don't.

Hennessey, Foley, Berra, Johnson, Ward, Henry, O'Hara, Hunt, Jarvis, Fletcher, Doyle.

That should be up challenging for a top 10 spot imo, sorry, especially when they don't lack depth.

They have presumably got someone lined up or it could get worse.

Rafa? Kinnear? Souness?

More likely Warnock.

Apart from Flecther his signings has been shit. Johnson cost them a decent amount and has been terrible this season. Doyle has lost his form and doesnt score enough goals. Midfield is getting worst all the time.

I think Curbishley is the boss they need to keep them in the league has done wonders with West Ham and Charlton and since he left both clubs they went down. I am shocked no one has gone and given him a chance with another top league club. IF they get Curbishley I feel they will have enough to stay up.

Will Wolves expect Warnock to keep them up? He's an expert at taking over when promotion is needed but has no track record of retaining Premiership status.

-- Mon Feb 13, 2012 1:48 pm --

Chairmen don't want a man like Curbishley because he sued his previous employers and won. It's no coincidence that he's out of the game for this long since he walked out of West Ham.
