Underachieved? Based on what?

They have a mid-table quality side imo.

I disagree.

I'm with JMW on this. Wolves had a decent first season when they came up, but since then, they've been on a downward slope. They only just survived because of goal difference last season, and this season has been even more of a struggle. They've gone backwards, despite money spent, and investment in new players. I like McCarthy, but he has to take the buck for this. However, I think the timing is bad, unless they have someone already lined up. Warnock would just be a sideways move, Bruce may do enough to keep them up. I can't see someone like Adkins, Hughton, Lee Clark, or Di Canio leaving their roles at this stage, if Wolves were willing to risk a gamble on other managers who have done well so far.

Just in time for the England job
Inst he a fake Irish man

He's very, very defensive when it comes to his nationality, in an interview with Four Four Two a few years ago he stated that he was 100% Irish, and felt Irish. To him at least, country of birth didn't come into it. He never even considered playing for England, which is probably handy as England probably never even considered picking him.

It's moot anyway, Sven was Swedish, Crapello was Italian, the England manager doesn't have to be English. I think the next appointment will be English, but that's only because the FA will want to avoid the criticism that came with having a shite Italian in the post the last time.

Will Wolves expect Warnock to keep them up? He's an expert at taking over when promotion is needed but has no track record of retaining Premiership status.

Apart from Flecther his signings has been shit. Johnson cost them a decent amount and has been terrible this season. Doyle has lost his form and doesnt score enough goals. Midfield is getting worst all the time.

I think Curbishley is the boss they need to keep them in the league has done wonders with West Ham and Charlton and since he left both clubs they went down. I am shocked no one has gone and given him a chance with another top league club. IF they get Curbishley I feel they will have enough to stay up.

Chairmen don't want a man like Curbishley because he sued his previous employers and won. It's no coincidence that he's out of the game for this long since he walked out of West Ham.
If Wolves gets relegated then Warnock will be perfect to get them back up.
