McDonalds struggling

People do over here, which I find weird.

Every time I've ordered burger I've been asked "how would you like it cooked?". My reply of "well done" is often met with a look of indignance.
It’s definitely become a thing being asked how you want your burger done and boggles my mind when these idiots ask for rare as if they are some foody **** in the know. Whenever I’m asked I just tell them cooked

I only go of the advice of my sister-in-law who has a degree in catering and food management.
We were having a discussion about fast food once and she told me it was dangerous if processed meat wasn't cooked thoroughly, things like burgers sausages etc.
E coli and listeria could be present in these meats and the only way to kill that bacteria is to thoroughly cook it at a high temperature.

Yeah all about having been exposed to air. A steak for example is fine to eat blue in the middle as apart from the outside it's hasn't been.

According to the USDA, the minimum safe internal temperature for burgers (beef) is 160°F to destroy harmful bacteria.

You can use a food thermometer to check the temperature in the thickest part of the meat, as close to the center as possible.

Of course, the problem with “well done” is that poor technique can completely dry out and char the beef to obtain the 160° internal temperature. In addition, the interior continues to cook even after being removed from the heat.

If you're that anal about your food I wouldn't bother then. Sense nutritionally haha.
I am not anal about my food, I just like it to be real ingredients what makes food proper, healthy and enjoyable.
But seriously, when you look at any item they sell, 50% of all calories come from fat, about 15-20% of those are saturated ones. Roughly 30% calories are carbs, all refined starches and sugar. And you are left with 20% calories from protein coming from ultra-processed meat. That is the reason I said it doesn't make any sense nutritionally. Try to cook any meal with real ingredients and you would not be able to come up with this calories ratio and content. This 'food' has been engineered by someone somewhere to act as a drug and have you hooked on forever with chemically concocted tastes,

Can you look up what’s in a filet of fish for me please? Between those and cocaine I’m not sure what I consume most of and just want to know if it’s good for me or not.
The filet, not cocaine. I know that’s good for me.

Interesting, personally I would never eat a burger that was pink in the middle any more than I would eat an undercooked sausage.

If it's from freshly made mince (which it has to be for food safety) there's no difference between eating that and a pink steak.

Like most things moderation is key. I might have a McDonald's once every 6 months. Think I once went a couple of yrs. It used to be quick and convenient if you were just in need of something on the go.

About a month ago I went into the one in Stockport and tbh with the ordering system, drive through and delivery drivers it was a pain in the arse. The big Mac was fine though when I eventually got it.

If you have a sustainable dealer you are probably getting much better value money from him. ;) And I know which one will kill you first.
The whole f-o-f burger has 14 g of protein which is 54 kcal, but somehow 'the fish part' has 113 kcal which should be roughly 28g of protein. So half of your 'fish' at least ain't fish. Just doesn't make sense, it is fecking scary what they are doing selling shit as food.
