City seem to have the same problem, even though it was just a friendly, last seasons problem was you couldnt keep the ball and didnt have any plan on how to play. Look at united, chelsea and arsenal.....even way they lose, you can see a pattern of play in their game, City looks like bunch of players doing their thing

Sporting played their first team in this game since they have a Europa game in a week. Against the spuds they will probably play the subs.. so wont be to compare scores, with them.

Second tonite, we didnt have our first 5 midfielders besides AJ. ... Yaya, Berry, Dejong, and Silva werent available.

Does that excuse playing utter shite from start to finish. Even the commentators were mystified, they were expecting a bit more from the richest club in the world, just one effort on goal would of been enough. They said this was a big chance to win some fans in North America, not playing shite like that it wont. Shambolic is the word to describe what i just seen.

That was dire! What is the point in promoting the club in the US big time and then walk out on the field just trying to defend? I know it is preseason and all that stuff but... Why didn't Adebayor play for instance? I could not be fun for travelling supporters to watch this.

Now if Given, Tevez, Adebayour, Silva, Toure, Toure, (Kolarov, Milner), Barry, Boateng etc had been playing and if we were a fit team (not one only 2 weeks into pre season) and if this was a game that mattered and if we were playing a team who weren't 3 weeks ahead of us in their seasons preparation and if....... etc etc

then I may actually see the sense in panic, worrying and criticism.

But as this was a friendly game in the US for an unfit third string against a team kicking off their season in a week then I really think that some of the above is comical!
