Media bias against City

I think some journalists, pundits do not like us, or the way we work, and report on us accordingly and others like (Martin Samuel) in relation to FFP sympathise with our position and similarly write accordingly.

What I don't believe is there is a collusion between journalists, broadcasters, referees to undermine our position within the game.

Im not sure thats weird. Weird,in my opinion, would be believing in such a collusion between such organisations without any evidence.

In relation to your comments about rival articles that is the staple diet of the debate which follows on the lines 'look at this about City they would not that about United/Liverpool' hence the reason articles about other clubs have been discussed.

Don't ban the media squire. He knows they are fair, positive and unbiased. They never have a negative spin or article about City. Refs are unbent and full of integrity, City defence are guilty as charge for letting offside opposing players to score, and doobee doobee doooo, lala lalala.

So you genuinely believe that referees are purposely giving decisions against Manchester City to prevent the club from winning trophies?

If i honestly believed this I would stop watching football today as what would be the point in watching a game where you believe the game is rigged or regardless of a teams ability and sporting merit they will not be successful?

Anyway I must be on a wind up for not agreeing that referees are all bent even though there is not a shred of evidence or this accusation has never been corroborated by anyone within the game.

I do. The multiple penalty denials in the first Derby and Yaya and Zaba being booked when cleaned out in the penalty area late on against Stoke and Palace is hard to explain any other way. Add in our ridiculous cards/fouls ratio compared to other teams and I won't be convinced otherwise. It might not be a formal agenda, but there are definitely a few referees that just do not like us and refuse to give us anything unless they've no other choice.

It's a multi billion pound business, there's far too much scope for corruption and lots of money at stake to be gained

Yes and by fixing games will certainly not help retain that stranglehold. One of the selling points of the Premier League is the perceived fairness and honesty of the competition. Take that away you end up with Serie A a league the Premiership long since surpassed. What you are talking about is referees fixing matches not a bit of corruption.

Why do you watch it if you think its fixed?
