Media bias against City

Just watching the sky sports news report....

Reported Yaya gets two....?
Then went on to highlight Sterlings two clear chances that he missed....

So far so good(ish).

Then went on to say Fernandinho was booked for this challenge (never showed the resultant free kick or anything) and then moved on the third goal.

Why highlight a City yellow and make no mention of....

The genuine penalty appeal (Silva) or the five West Brom Yellows?

It seems... let's say- unbalanced at best?

No it was ten, spent the night in Huddersfield after, who's going to forget a Tony Adcock hat trick, that 8-1 thingy was just a friendly, fuck it I got close :)
Ha,sorry mate I thought you were talking about our pre season game in Vietnam.Yes I was at that game with three hats tricks and if I remember correctly a Neil McNab goal.

And yet you still believe in no anti City agenda.
Strange.

I think you can still be a passionate blue without thinking the whole of the media are conspiring against us. I have always stated I think some journalist do not like us and write accordingly.

All of the newspaper reports that I've read so far are eulogising about our performance tonight.

It's right to complain when the media are overly negative about us, but it's only fair to acknowledge praise too. It's not constant criticism.

Disagree Ric.

There was a report I read on the BBC for instance, having a go at our pre season build up saying that we had no chance at a title challenge. Chelsea on the other hand, who had a worse pre season than us, they were wanking over.

The grub media tried getting in our heads before the season started, knowing that a bad start, and the pressure would really be on for the Chelsea game. Instead now they're heaping praise, but still playing on the negatives like Sterling should have scored. Why not concentrate on the fact that Sterling has brought another dimension to city's play and last season we weren't creating those kind of opportunities and if we continue to then City will be hard to stop?

We've played better than this in a lot of matches since the takeover, and while I agree, it's a great start to the season, let's hope the media's over hyping doesn't lead to complacency in the next game.

would like to thank the media/pundits etc , they have written us off as challengers , and that has proved to be the best team talk possible , as Vinny alluded to , in his post match interview , we arent favourites anymore , lets see how far we can ram the pundits/critics comments down their proverbial throats this season. Loved seeing carragher after the game reluctantly praising our performance whilst looking like he was chewing a wasp.

Was he fuck.I watched all of his feedback and he said that we were poor against both Madrid and in Germany. Was he incorrect with that assessment ? Was he fuck and he gave both City and Sterling some very good feedback on tonights performance. If I was you I`d ask yer mam to clean your fucking lugholes.
People like you really need to grow a manly pair.
What Jamie failed to mention was that 2 friendlies, where a lot of youngsters got time, and tonight's game had very different players playing in each game and the 2 friendlies, compared to a competitive game are also different to.

You'd think the ball headed ****, being an ex pro, would be able to understand this, but obviously the scouse in him allows him to open his mouth and let his fat fucking belly rumble
