Just seen this belter from The Star:

I wasn't able to view this over the weekend at it was blocked at work; now I can see what has pissed folk off.

What a pathetic and childish thing to write.

What the fuck made the Editor think that was acceptable.

Sounds like yourself and PB could issue him with a footballing history lesson.
I'd certainly enjoy the opportunity to engage with him face to face. Not sure he'd be up to the task, however. There's a reason he writes for The Star. I expect he thinks because he's cleverer than the people he writes for, that makes him intelligent. Classic self-deception. Surround yourself with idiots to boost your sense of self-worth. It's the same reason I hang around with the moderators as much as I am able.

If anything the article just seeks to highlight how thick and ill-informed Ansbro is. I'm no accountant but even I can work out what our owner's strategy was/is even if this hackneyed dick can't. The CFA has barely been open a year and he's having a go that we haven't produced one 'First team regular'. He chose his words carefully as he can't state that none of our EDS has played first team football yet.

This is a shit article from a shit 20p newspaper who had a falling circulation last time I heard. Leave the dick to it I say because sensible people reading this shit will just flick the page over and look at the Premier League table and scrub this crap excuse for an article out of their memory which is all it deserves.

This gem in the MUEN (via Twitter) today...

Regardless of the article content, the headline is overwhelmingly negative. A quick glance down the rags news feed shows no articles with a negative slant... the opposite in fact, surprisingly!

Ogden shit stirring in the Telegraph again as well. Anyone would think it's derby week.

Only seen a few quotes but what I have seen Yaya has hit the nail on the head
here you go:

“In recent weeks, journalists have spoken about a new beginning for me. But what new beginning?

“I’m coming off a season when Man City finished second in the Premier League, which is the most difficult in the world. I scored twelve goals, I also had to leave the club to join my national team who were playing the African Cup. I missed almost two months (of Premier League football), and I then I was criticised for not scoring as many goals as in the season before.

“You understand a little my disgust. Here, when it’s bad, they (British journalists) highlight the faults. When it’s good, they say nothing.

“They have always used their little ways to annoy me, to exclude me. I often feel that I’m unhappy. A lot.

“Here, things are never as they say should be. Shouldn’t we be more interested in mentioning the positive rather than the negative?

“We, Africans, when we do a good job, we like to be rewarded, recognised. Because if a player is given fair value, we move faster. That’s what I think.

“When I came to City, in 2010, I heard people say here that I would kill football!

“I arrived from Barcelona as a player who had not played too much the last few months, and they did not understand. The journalists spoke of my salary (about 1 million euros per month), saying that it was a shame. But I was just at this club to help it grow and win titles.

“Many people, beasts, I must say, have laughed at me when I said that. They wondered what I, Yaya Toure, could do to change City. And then you saw what happened next? We almost won everything.

“I did it, we did it because I was not alone, of course, but no one said a thing. It’s a bit disgusting.

“These people are not very smart. I do not have the habit of making shock interviews, I only say what I think. I’ve suffered for years, and now I have decided to talk. I mean everything.”
