Genuinely why?

I could understand if this was the season before and it was applause for their rebuilding efforts.

But this season just gone, they had the title dead to rights.

No Champions League because they weren't in it.

They were out of the Europa by March in the round of 16.

No FA Cup because they'd been knocked out in January (BY US!)

They had absolutely no reason not to win the league, and they blew it.

This just stinks of being a contrarian for the sake of it. Being a good journalist doesn't get the clicks. Just say something controversial and let the twitter replies come flying in and that's how you make your money.
