It's only reported that way when the writing on the cheque is in sky blue ink. The Rags went season after season hoovering up players and paying record amounts that were never emblazoned over the sports pages.But the fee has been widely reported as £105m. Rice is the most expensive English player ever now. Not Grealish. So why not report it that way?

No mate. The rags were "strengthening their squad" and "making a statement" when they were spunking the GDP of a small African nation on players, most of them duds. On the other hand City were "ruining football" when they signed players whose transfer value invariably increased with world class coaching and a shed full of medals.It's only reported that way when the writing on the cheque is in sky blue ink. blimey, that's escalated. she said 5 billion this morning.
I went on the City tour today and the trophies aren't there*, so that might explain why they're free ;)
*the PL trophy was in the shop, and there were paid photos, but not sure if you just ask and take your own. The CL trophy is apparently on tour, and no idea where the FA Cup is.
