‘Naturally most of this belonged in the realm of online silliness, and soon enough pre-game ambivalence gave way to a thrumming, relentless opening, a kind of Total Angeball: four midfielders, two wingers, no strikers, the kind of lineup Pep Guardiola used to put out when he still had ideals.”

Talk sport talking about spursy spurs fans enjoying the defeat but completely ignoring the worst United XI against arsenal in 30 years is bang on brand.
Exactly, Spurs put up a much better fight than the rags. The crowd got behind spurs in the 2nd half aswel. The players and manager were clearly up for it. Talksport are gutted and bitter.

Piers Morgan on talkshite having a meltdown ….. PMIAC
I chucked on talksport for the first time in ages just for the giggles
PMIAC is also the biggest fucking hypocrite in the country

Calling spurs fans treacherous
PMIAC authorised fake pictures of British troops with bound prisoners, which placed our armed forces in even more danger

Slagging spurs fans for not getting behind the manager
how many times did PMIAC have a go at wenger or arteta in his first two seasons!

PMIAC said West ham should be motivated to do it for Declan Rice
Was PMIAC happy for Samir Nasri to win the league with us or Van Persie with the rags, or were they traitors?

PMIAC also said that WHU have the players to hurt us.
Two minutes later he said the wobble at Christmas has cost arsenal especially getting beat by West ham and if you want to win the league you shouldn't be getting beat by the likes of them

Brilliant! The Temps! That track is just SO appropriate!

And Smokey's production, with the strings and all that, just sums up the warm feeling after what The Lads achieved last night to put us on the brink of a never done before FOURTH CONSECUTIVE TITLE!

Muchas gracias, you've sorted out what's going to be my 'earworm' for the rest of the day.. 'I guess you'd say/ What can make me feel this way?/ My team, talking about my team..'!!
Great idea. I may include Lovely Day (Bill Withers) and Can't get next to you (Temptations) just for the intro!

I do love the constant talk about "2 players in every position" that came with Ortega's performance last night. Every team in the league has a squad of players. We've spent a lot of money but others have spent more. The truth is that Pep uses his squad over the course of the season in order to ensure people are fit and firing at this time of the year, and everyone is mentally ready to do what it takes. Arsenal have signed plenty of players, and through good fortune they've not had too many injuries. But they were literally swapping keeper every other game at the start of the season, so it's not particularly noteworthy we've got someone on the bench who can also do a job.

If we had two world class players for every position why did Pep field the same starting eleven for two away games in the space of three days? It’s the same old bollox.
