Simon Jordan was at it again today on TalkSh!te. He despises us, doesn't he? It's every day and whenever he's challenged he claims he hasn't got an issue with City. Yet it's relentless. He and Jim White have barely talked about our Treble, prefering to push the 115 charges. I suppose it's what pulls the "Big Reds" in from Dagenham to Dumfries though.
Jordan added a new embellishment to his argument today, pouring scorn on how much City are worth compared to old money like the Rags and Real. Apparently it's all about being a brand now which, he was keen to point out, doesn't apply to us! If we'd known this beforehand we could all have saved ourselves a small fortune by not bothering to go to Istanbul. He sounded like a wannabe entrepreneur pushing a new line in nail parlours in The Dragons' Den.
Personally I'm a lot happier with City winning The Treble than being a brand but what I'd really like to hear would be the unrestrained hysteria of Jordan v the calmness of Khaldoon Al Mubarak. Not that Al Mubarak would ever trouble himself with small time anger merchants like Jordan of course.

He doesn't care if you think he's an idiot, nor does he care if he's speaking nonsense.

What he wants is people to tune in and then talk about it to others... and Blues love to hate to tune in and talk about it!!

While failed owner Jordan spouts bollocks on Talkshite about the implausiblyness of our welationship with our opewating business modality.

Our chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE),
chief executive officer and managing director of Mubadala Investment Company, that manages assets worth approximately $284 billion, is In Davos talking with Bloomberg News about prospects for the world economy.

Or in Seoul meeting South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol...

Or with CNBC talking about the worldwide growth in semiconductors...

Or in Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer....

As much as I'd like to think that the tide is turning towards a more balanced approach to the way the media report on all things MCFC.

I feel that the sporting journalist (erm erm) in this country are way too invested in their propaganda to change now.

Any attempt by them at positivity would come across as hypocritical at this point.
IF it's all about clicks to monetise yourself, I'd wager that they will have worked out that behind their shitty puff pieces they know that City are by far the best team. Therefore, slag us off whist giving it large about Rags, Dippers and the Arse. Clickety-click and a decent pay packet.
Admittedly some "Journos" are just jump-on-the-bandwagon haters...... but fuck 'em.

Isnt it strange that when we sign Haaland its stated in alot of places as 60m plus all the talk is about how much the agents will get. When we buy Kovacic its being reported as 30m with 25m plus 5m add-ons. When Liverpool buy McAllister its reported as 35m with no mention of add-ons and nowhere are any agents fees mentioned.

All I heard for the first 12 months was 100m Grealish but have not heard that once in relation of Fenandez at Chelsea. I know its probably just me but the way we are reported upon is like Chalk and Cheese in relation to all other clubs

The thing is it doesnt really matter in the scheme of things its just so obvious and premedidated
